We’ve driven around the US twice in our SUV so we now have a serious appreciation for the sheer size of America. Having lived in New York City, Seattle and now North Carolina, we’ve checked a lot off our US bucket list and we’ll share those experiences below.

Top Places To Visit In The USA

If someone were to ask you to name the best places to see in America, it’s a difficult question because you can visit the major cities or spend time in the world famous national parks across various states. Below you’ll find our guides about some of the popualr places you can visit.

Chicago – Home to a vibrant art scene, multicultural neighborhoods, the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan and famous foods such as the deep dish pizza, Chicago is a popular American City. Make sure you look for the large silver bean when you’re in town!

Grand Canyon – One of the most popular places to visit in the US, the Grand Canyon is a somewhere you should try to visit at least one in your lifetime. We’ve hiked to the bottom of the canyon and it’s one of the best trails we’ve ever experienced.

Las Vegas – Known as Sin City, Las Vegas is a unique travel destination featuring endless casinos, fine dining, entertainment and nightlife. Explore the Las Vegas strip or take one of the popular day trips nearby.

New York City – Home to Broadway, the Brooklyn Bridge, numerous observation decks and the Statue of Liberty, New York stands out above any other city on this list. If this is your first time in the states, we highly recommend New York!
